Reflection Journal
For my process of my elements and principles slide show I wanted to capture everything from my day to day activities. Without putting to much thought into stressing over what should I do, where should I go, how am I going to do this project I wanted to not think about it and just take pictures from what I was doing throughout the week. After taking numerous photo's I narrowed it down to what I feel was best fit for each slide. By making my slides personal with the things that I do from the elements in my household I was able to capture the elements and principles and now have a better understanding of the objects in my household and where I go. I really enjoyed taking the time putting this slide show together and I hope you enjoy!
Amber, I really enjoyed going through your slide show! The pictures that I liked the most were for value, line, balance, and movement! I loved how simple the picture for line was, just lines in a wooden floor, it just goes to show how many principles of art there are around us and we don't even realize! I also loved the firework for movement, very pretty! and such a great shot!
ReplyDeleteOne of the pictures i was confused about was emphasis, it was just an antler, maybe i am missing something, but i would love to hear your thoughts on that!
All together, it was a really fantastic side show!
I liked your photo choice as well; balance probably being my favorite. I think your image for emphasis could have been better explained in your post; in fact I kind of missed any explanation other than you wanted it to happen "naturally" which I can totally appreciate. I loved Unity; I myself am married and thought that was a beautiful picture in so many ways.
